On our last day in Wales we spent the morning at school. First we had time to sum up our impressions about the Welsh families, the partner school and one important event, then we learned how to play rugby and finally we did a quiz together with some Welsh students. The food in the canteen was nice and after many tears the bus left at one o'clock. Since there was much traffic, we only got the ferry at 9 pm and so we finally arrived in Grünstadt at 7 am German time. Everyone was really tired and still a bit sad that the week has finished so quickly. Thanks again to our Welsh partner school and especially to Ceri having organized a fantastic week!!! We are all looking forward to seeing you in June next year.

Den letzten Tag in Wales verbrachten wir in der Schule. In der ersten Stunde hatten wir die Gelegenheit, unsere Eindrücke zusammenzufassen. In der zweiten Stunde erhielten wir eine Rugbyeinführung und den Abschluss bildete ein Quiz zusammen mit einigen walisischen Schülern. Das Essen in der Kantine war gut und nach vielen Tränen fuhr der Bus um ein Uhr ab. Da es sehr viel Verkehr gab, nahmen wir die Fähre um 21 Uhr und so waren wir um sieben in Grünstadt. Alle waren sehr müde und immer noch etwas traurig, dass die Woche in Wales so schnelle vorbei war. Nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön an unsere Partnerschule und v.a. an Ceri, die die Woche so fantastisch organisiert hat!!! Wir freuen uns alle darauf, Euch im Juni in Deutschland begrüßen zu dürfen.

So, ich bin mehr als müde nach der Rückfahrt und wirklich sehr traurig das diese wunderbschöne Woche in der wir viele neue Freunde gefunden haben vorbei ist!
Zwei Wochen wären definitiv besser gewesen.. Aber ich bin trotzdem total dankbar und froh das ich mitkommen durfte und nun hoffe ich das ich bald wieder nach Wales zu meiner Gastfamilie kommen kann!
Der letzte Tag war wirklich traurig... Ich glaube bei fast jedem ist die ein oder andere Träne geflossen.
Ich denke ich fange jetzt an die Tage zu zählen bis unsre geliebten Waliser zu uns kommen :)

So, I'm very tired after the long way back home and very sad that this wunderful week is over, because we found a lot of new friends!
Two weeks would have been better.. But I'm very glad that I coud come and I hope that I'm able to see my walish family again soon!
The last day was very sad and I think that almost everyone has been crying.
I think I'll start count the day until our walish partners come over :)

It was a really good time in wales.I had some fun all the time.My exchange partner Mabon was really nice to me.His family,too.The food there tasted really well.It was deliciouse.But now I am in Germany and it is all as always.


Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit in Wales.Ich hatte immer viel Spaß.Mein Austauschschüler Mabon war sehr nett zu mir.Seine Familie auch.Das Essen dort war wirklich gut.Es war köstlich.Aber jetzt bin ich in Deutschland und es ist alles so wie immer.

Back Home

Nach einer wunderschönen Woche in Wales sind wir nun wieder daheim angekommen. Es war eine unbeschreiblich tolle Zeit mit allen und wir hatten sehr viel Spaß! Es wird unvergesslich bleiben. Jetzt freue ich mich auf die Woche, wenn die Waliser nach Deutschland kommen, weil ich die Waliser schon sehr vermisse, besonders Nia Seviour, meine Austauschschülerin ♥ Schade, dass es schon vorbei ist!

After that wonderful week in Wales we have arrived back home now. It was a indescribably beautiful time with all the people and we had a lot of fun! It'll be unforgettable. I'm very excited for the week when the welsh partners come over to Germany because I miss them already especially my exchange Nia Seviour ♥ It's a pity that it's over already!

Yesterday was the last day in Wales. We played Rugby, made two quizzes and ate in the cantine. Then we had to say "Good Bye", it was so sad =( But next year they will come to Germany (: I want to say thanks to Alys and her family, they was very very nice to me :-)

Gestern war unser letzter Tag in Wales. Wir haben Rugby gespielt, zwei Quizzes gemacht und in der Kantine gegessen. Danach mussten wir uns verabschieden, es war so traurig. =( Aber nächstes Jahr werden sie nach Deutschland. Ich möchte mich bedanken bei Alys und ihrer Familie, sie waren alle so nett zu mir :-)

leider ist die Zeit in Wales schon um. Ich wäre so gerne noch eine Woche länger geblieben.

Der Abschied fiel uns allen, glaub ich, ziemlich schwer.

Wir waren am Freitag morgen noch in der Schule von unsren Austauschschülern.

Es war ganz lustig :-)

Wir haben dort gegessen und dann ging's auch schon los.

18 Stunden heimfahrt :-(

Aber es hat sich gelohnt. Es war die beste Woche die ich jemals hatte. :-)
Ich freue mich schon sehr wenn die Walliser zu uns kommen. :-)

Hallo zusammen,

jetzt sind wir schon wieder daheim. Meiner Meinung nach hätten wir noch die nächsten vier Wochen da bleiben können. Es war soooooo schön da und alle waren so nett. Ich wollte mich auch nochmal bei meiner Gastfamilie bedanken, dass sie so nett und freundlich zu mir waren. Ich komme sie vielleicht nächsten Sommer besuchen, aber wenn, dann in Begleitung von Teresa!       Kann es kaum noch abwarten bis nächsten Juni!!

now we are back at home.In my opinion we could stay there the next four weeks. It was soooooooo fantastic and everybody was so nice. And I want to give thanks to my guest family cause they were so friendly and nice to me. I'll maybe come to them, but when, Teresa will come with me.     Can't wait for next june!!

ich wollte mich noch mal bei allen bedanken, für die schönste Woche meines Lebens!!!!!!!
Der schönste Moment war für mich, als ich meine super nette Austauschpartnerin kennengelernt habe.
Die ganzen Ausflüge die wir gemacht haben, fand ich ganz toll. ( außer st.fagans,ein bisschen langweilig) Auch meiner Gastfamilie möchte ich danken, weil sie super super nett zu mir war.

 Am 5. Tag (Donnerstag) waren wir in St. Fagans, einem Freilichtmuseum mit Rekonstruktionsbauten. Es war eigentlich ganz interessant, aber auch etwas zäh und langweilig. Es war sehr weit zu laufen :(. Die Disco war witzig, aber leider -wie alles- viel zu kurz.
 Gestern, am letzten Tag, waren wir mit den Walisern in der Schule. Da haben wir Berichte über die Woche geschrieben und ein Quiz gemacht.

Der Abschied ist uns allen sehr sehr schwer gefallen. Betsan und ihre Familie waren so nett zu mir.:)))

I think the exchange was great, I would do it again, if I could. I'm looking forward to June, when the Welsh will come to us.:)

 The 5. day (Thursday) we wnt to St. Fagans, an open-air museum with reconstracted old welsh houses. It was interesting but after a time it got boring. We had to walk far.:( The disco was funny, but -like all- too short.
 Yesterday, the last day, we were in school with our Welsh partners. We wrote reports about our week here. We did a quiz, too.

It was really hard to say goodbye for everyone. Bets and her family were really nice and kind with me.:)

Donnerstag, 22.09.2011 Heute waren wir in St. Fagans, einem keltisch angehauchtem Freilichtmuseum. Es war ein bisschen weit zu laufen. Dort werden alte Gebäude aus ganz Großbritanien wieder aufgebaut. Was ich toll fand, dass der Mann der uns das erzählt hat ein bischen Deutsch konnte. In vielen Gebäuden haben richtige Feuer gebrannt. Im Castle von St. Fagans gab es lauter alte Sachen zu sehen. Es war der erste Tag, an dem es nicht geregnet hat und wir nicht unter der Erde waren !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ich will nur sagen, dass wir nicht nur Regen hatten.


Today we were at St. Fagans, a Celtic-tinged open-air museum. It was a bit far to walk. They rebilt old buildings from all over Great Britain . What I found super, that the man who has told us this was able to speak a little bit German. In many buildings, real fires have burned. In the Castle of St. Fagans were to lots of old things. It was the first day that has not been raining and we were not under the earth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to say that we didn´t have rain only.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Hayyy, die Woche in Wales war so toll , ich wünschte ich konnte nochmal dort hin aber die Walieser kommen ja nächstes Jahr .Der Abschied war sehr schwer , ich musste weinen ,aber alle haben mich getrösted <3 . Ich freu mich jetzt schon sehr ,wenn Danielle zu mir kommt .
Sie und ihre Familie sind sooo nett . Danielle hat mir ein kleines Geschenk gekauft , das sehr schön ist . Es war sehr schön dort mit all meinen Freunden & deren Austauschpartnern :) .

Heute fahren wir nach Hause. Ich bin total traurig, weil meine Gastfamilie so nett und fürsorglich war. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf den Besuch der Waliser im Sommer, aber bis dahin sind es noch neun Monate.

Today we´re leaving Barry. I´m very sad about that, because my Exchange family was so nice and solicitously. I´m looking forward to the visit of the welsh partners in Summer, but until then there are nine months.

Hallo zusammen!!!
heute waren wir in sankt ffagans. Es war sehr kalt, aber interessant. Danach haben wir uns noch ein Rugbyspiel angesehen: unsere Mannschaft hat gewonnen! Dann sind wir ein paar stunden spaeter in die Disko gegangen. Alle haben getanzt und es war echt lustig! Morgen muessen wir leider schon wieder fahren!!! :'(

today we were in saint ffagans. It was very cold but interesting. Then we watched a rugby match:our team won! Then we went a few hours later to the disco. Everybody danced and it a very funny! Tomorrow we'll have to go!! :'(

The disco was a huge success - thanks to Vicki and her sister Kim. Die Disko war ein grosser Erfolg - ein herzliches Dankeschoen an Vicki und ihre Schwester Kim. Today we visited St Fagans, it was ok. We looked around old house's and a castle. Then I went to the disco with Alys, which was fun! I do not want to leave but I am exited to see my family and cats, again.
Heute besuchten wir St. Fagans, es war ok. Wir schauten uns alte Haeuser und und ein Schloss an. Danach waren Alys und ich in der Schule zur Disco, es war sehr lustig. Ich will nicht nach Hause aber ich freue mich, dass ich bald wieder meine Familie und Katzen sehe.

Heute waren wir im Freiluftmuseum St Fagans die Haeuser waren sehr klein, aber das wetter war gut.

Heute waren wir im Freilicht- Museum in St Fagans. Nach der Schule haben wir bei einem Rugbymatch zugeschaut! Dann sind Annika, Elin, Ffion und ich nochmal nach Barry in die Innenstadt gefahren.. und heute Abend war die Disco! Es war so lustig und wir haben schön laut mitgesungen! ;P

we were in Big Pit yesterday and it was very cold and wet!In the afternoon I was at the beach and in the city with Ffion, Jordanne, Miri, Taegan and Charlotte..
Today we were in the Freilicht-museum in St Fagans. After school we watched a rugbymatch! Then went Annika, Elin, Ffion and I to the downtown of Barry again.. and in the evening was the disco! It was so funny and we sang very laud ! ;P
Tomorrow we`ll drive sadly home, but I`m glad to see everyone!

Mittwoch:

Wir waren in Big Pitt. Zuerst waren wir in dem Museum dort, dann sind wir nach unten gefahren. Es war sehr interessant. Abends waren wir in Cardiff im Stadium und haben Fussball geschaut.

Wednesday:

We were in Big Pitt. First we were in the museum, then in the underground. It was very cool. After that we were in the stadium to watch football.

Donnerstag:

Wir waren in dem Freilichtmuseum St. Fagans. Es war teilweise ein wenig langweilig. Aber das Rugby Spiel war perfekt.

Thursday:

We were in the museum St. Fagans. Sometimes it was a little bit boring, but the rugby match was perfect.

Museum of Welsh Life St. Fagans

Today the bus took us to the Museum of Welsh Life in St. Fagans, which is only a short drive away from Barry. On the museum grounds they have rebuilt about 35 houses showing life and living conditions in Wales in former times. For example, we could look inside various old shops, workshops, farmhouses and even two churches. The Rhyd-y-car terraced houses gave us a good insight into family life from the 19th century up to the 1980s. We could also see the reconstruction of a Celtic village. There was time for a long picknick, so some of our pupils bought some traditional Welsh scones with jam and butter or other food at the bakery or had a look round a shop which sold traditional Welsh food, drinks and sweets. Our group was accompanied by three girls from our Welsh partner school who gave our pupils information on some houses in German. We then moved on to the other half of the museum grounds where you can see and visit St Fagans Castle, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a park. After our time inside the museum we took our time to have a look at the big souvenir shop, where many children managed to find some souvenirs for their friends or family at home. Now our pupils have gone home with their partners to get something to eat and to get ready for tonight. I suppose everybody is looking forward to the school disco!

Heute morgen brachte der Bus uns nach St. Fagans, einem Ort nicht weit von Barry, wo sich das Museum of Welsh Life befindet. Dort wurden ca. 35 alte walisische Gebaeude wiederaufgebaut, fuer die es an ihrem urspruenglichen Ort keine Verwendung mehr gab und die nun einen guten Einblick in das Leben und die Lebensumstaende in Wales in frueheren Zeiten vermitteln. Beispielsweise sahen wir verschiedene Laeden, zwei Kirchen, die Werkstaetten von Handwerkern und die Rhyd-y-car Houses, die dem Besucher die Wohnverhaeltnisse vom 19. Jahrhundert bis in die 80er-Jahre des 20. Jahrhunderts anschaulich vor Augen fuehren. Auch ein keltisches Dorf gab es zu entdecken. Begleitet wurden wir von drei walisischen Schuelerinnen der zwoelften Klasse, die Deutsch lernen und uns auf Deutsch einige Informationen zu den Haeusern im Museum gaben. Es war genug Zeit fuer ein ausfuehrliches Picknick, fuer das sich einige in der Baeckerei traditionelle walisische scones mit Butter und Marmelade kauften. Anschliessend besuchten wir die andere Haelfte des Museums. Dort befindet sich - umgeben von einem schoenen Garten und einem Park - St Fagans Castle, dessen Innenraeume wir ebenfalls besichtigten. Der zum Museum gehoerige Souvenirladen war sehr gross, so dass viele Schueler Mitbringsel fuer daheimgebliebene Freunde und ihre Familie fanden. Nun sind alle bei ihren Partnern daheim, um sich fuer die Disco vorzubereiten und schick zu machen. Viel Spass heute abend!

This evening there's a disco which the most people are looking forward to .
It will be cool I think but i'm really sad that we'll go home tomorrow :(
I'm really happy when I can see everybody but I want to stay here already :)

Heute waren wir in einem Freilichtmuseum.Danach waren wir auf einem Rugby Spiel der walisischen Schulmannschaft.Es war sehr witzig!! :)
Heute Abend gehen wir alle in die Disco,ich freue mich schon.

Heute waren wir als erstes im Millenium Stadium und haben eine Fuehrung gemacht.
Anschliessend waren wir im riesigen Cardiff Castle und dannach schoppen in Cardiff City.
Am Nachmittag waren wir mit unseren Austausch Partnern in Pizza Hut und gingen dann zum Bowlen, wo wir viiiiel Spass hatten. :-)

Mittwoch:
Vormittags gingen wir in die Kohle Mine "Big Pit". Es war sehr kalt aber fantastisch.
Am Nachmittag ging ich mit meiner Austausch Partnerin noch mal nach Cardiff schoppen fuer die Disco.

Gestern Abend waren wir auf einem Fussballspiel: 'Cardiff City' vs. 'Leicester City'.

Cardiff City gewann 7:6! Es war so cool!!!

Ich freue mich schon sehr auf die Disco heute Abend. Es wird bestimmt lustig!

Yesterday evening we were in a football match: 'Cardiff City' vs. 'Leicester City'.

Cardiff City won 7:6! It was so cool!!!
I'm looking forward to the Disco in this evening. It will be very funny!

On tuesday we went to cardiff. We went to the Millenium Stadion, that is a very big stadion. Our guy said that 75.000 people can sit there.After that we went to the cardiff castle. It is very old and there is a very tall tower.After that we have free time in the city.We baught some things and went to a cafe.In the evening we went to pizza hut and than we bowl.Everybody was happy and all have fun.
On wednesday we went to Big Pit. It was very cold in the coal mine.Our guy said some interesting news about the coal mine.In the evining we went to a football match.It was very good, cause cardiff win in the penalty.
On thursday we went to a museum, but it was in the free. There are some very old house from Wales. The oldest was build in 1500.

Am Dienstag sind wir nach cardiff gegangen.Wir waren im Millenium Stadion, das ist ein sehr grosses stadion. Unser Guy sagte das 75.000 menschen hier sitzen koennen.Dannach sind wir ins Cardiff Castle gegangen. Es ist sehr alt und dort gab es einen sehr grossen Turm. Dannach hatten wir freie Zeit in der Stadt. Wir haben ein paar Dinge gekauft und sind dann in ein Cafe gegangen. Am Abend sind wir in einen Pizza Hut gegangen und dann haben wir gebowlt. Alle waren gluecklich und alle hatten Spass.
Am Mittwoch sind wir nach Big Pit gegangen.Es war sehr kalt in der Kohlemine.Unser Guy hat ein paar sehr interesante Fakten ueber die Kohlemine gesagt.Am Abend sind wir zu einem Fussballspiel gegangen.Es war sehr gut,weil Cardiff im Elfmeterschiessen noch gewonnen hat.
AM donnerstag sind wir in ein Museum gegangen,aber es war im Freien.Da waren viele alte Haeuser von Wales.Das aelteste wurde 1500 gebaut.

Today we went to Big Pit it is a big coal mine.In it it was really cold and wed and dark.But outside it was wed and cold,too.After Big Pit we went to the park with Henrik and Dan.There we played football and rugby.Rugby was really good.but after this we were really dirty.So we got a shower.After that we went to Cardiff City Stadium.There I saw the best game in my life.All of us shouted and we all had much fun.

Heute gingen wir zu Big Pit es ist eine groβe Kohl Mine.In ihr war es sehr kalt und nass und dunkel.Aber drauβen war es genauso.Nach Big Pit gingen wir mit Henrik und Dan in den park und spielten Fuβball und Rugby.Rugby war wirklich gut.Aber danach waren wir wirklich dreckig.Also nahmen wir eine Dusche.Danach gingen wir in das Cardiff City Stadion.dort sah ich das beste Spiel in meinem Leben.Alle haben von uns geschrien und wir hatten alle Spaβ.

we went 18 hours to wales.i was very excited!!!!!!
We went in the Aula and i saw my exchange partner Morwenna.
Morwenna and her parents drove me in my new house. In the afternoon we went to cardiff bay, very very cool :-)

Monday:
Morwenna and i were late and i met my class in the bus. we drove to Mumbles and saw the super beach.And afternoon we went in a big swimming pool with cool slights. SUPER DAY XD

Tuesday:
In the morning i met my class in the canteen, and we went to Cardiff. We was in the millenium stadium. Than we was in Cardiff Castle and than we went shopping. YEAH!!!

Wednesday:
This day we went to Big Pit. It was cool,wet,cold, and very good ;-)
In the afternoon i went shopping with my exchange partner, really good day.


DEUTSCH:

Sonntag:
Wir sind 18 Stunden mit dem Bus gefahren,bis wir in wales waren. Ich war sehr aufgeregt.
Als wir da waren sind wir in die Aula und ich sah meine Austauschpartnerin Morwenna.
Sie und ihre Eltern fuhren mich zu meinem neuem Haus. Am Nachmittag sind wir nach Cardiff Bay gegangen. Sehr guter Tag ;-)

Montag:
Wir waren spaet dran und und meine Klasse war schon am Bus. Heute machen wir einen Ausflug nach Mumbles. Dort war ein wirklich schoener Strand. Am Nachmittag waren wir in einem Schwimmbad mit 4 Rutschen. Super Tag XD

Die naechsten zwei Tage schreibe ich morgen, weil es schon spaet ist.

Big Pit

Heute waren wir im Big Pit. Wir sind mit einem Fahrstuhl Untertage gefahren. Nach Big Pit sind wir wieder zur Schule gefahren und hatten dann den restlichen Tag fuer uns. Ich, Veronika, Annika, Anna, Isabelle und Johanna waren zusammen mit unseren Austauschpartnern im Kino, im Film: ''I don't know how she does it''. Der Film war gut und ich habe so gut wie Alles verstanden.Vor dem Film kauften wir uns fast Alle ein Getraenk Namens ''Turbo Tango'', welches sehr lecker war. Morgen wird unser letzter richtiger Tag hier in Wales und ich finde die Zeit hier vergeht sehr schnell! Ich freue mich auf die restliche Zeit mit Allen. In Liebe Antonia!

Today we were in Big Pit. We drove to the underground with an elevator. After Big Pit we drove back to school and had the rest of the day for ourselves. Me, Veronika, Annika, Anna, Isabelle and Johanna were together with our exchanges in the cinema in the film: ''I don't know how she does it''. The film was very good and I understood almost everything. Before we went to the film the most of us bought a drink called ''Turbo Tango'', which was very delicious. Tomorrow will be our last real day here in Wales and I think the time passes quickly here! I'm excited for the remaining time with all of them. In Love Antonia!

Wendsday Dienstag Mercher

Today we went to the Big Pit. First we drove there by bus for 1 hour. Then we had to wait for a minute. Then we watched a short film. After that we went in the mine.After 50 minutes we got up to daylight. We had a look in a museum ,too.           Heute sind wir in die Kohlemine Big Pit gegangen. Als erstes sind wir mit dem Bus 1 Stunde dort hin gefahren.Dann mussten wir kurz warten. Danach haben wir einen kurzen Film geguckt. Dann sind wir in die mine herabgefahren. Nach 50 minuten sind wir wieder ans Tageslicht gegangen.

Heute waren wir in Big Pit, man konnte sich gut vorstellen wie die Leute damals
gearbeitet haben. Es war etwas feucht und kalt. Der Führer war sehr nett zu uns. Danach haben wir an der Schule unsere Austauschpartner wieder getroffen. Es war schöner Tag!!!

Today we were at Big Pit, I could imagine how the people at that time had worked. It was a bit damp and cold. The guide was very nice to us. Then we met at the school our exchange partners. It was a beautiful day!

Today, I went to "Big Pit", an old coal-mine. We went 90 meters down the earth. And then went shopping with Maelle, Alys and Sian. We had lots of fun! The weather was ok, not very good. Looking forward to disco, tomorrow!

Gestern waren wir im Millenium Stadium und im Cardiff Castle. Spaeter waren wir noch in der stadt. Ich habe mir dort einen Rugby-Ball und einen Pullover gekauft. Abends waren wir im pizza hut essen und sind dann bowlen gegangen. Das Bowlen hat sehr viel spass gemacht, da alle sehr nett waren, und wir viele coole fotos gemacht haben, mit den walisischen Jungs und Maedchen!=)
Heute waren wir dann im big pit, wo frueher Kohle abgebaut wurde. Dort war es zwar sehr kalt, aber trotzdem war dort alles sehr interessant. Leider ging die Busfahrt so lang dahin. Und morgen ist die Disco!! Ich freu mich schon richtig, alle walischen Schueler auf einmal wiederzusehen, auch wenn ich sie erst gestern gesehen habe! =)

Yesterday we was in the Millenium Stadium and in the Cardiff Castle. After that we was in the Town of Cardiff. I had buyed a Pullover and a Ruby-Ball there. In the afternoon we had eaten in the Pizza Hut and after that we go to Bowl. The Bowling was really funny, because all of them was really crazy, and we made a lot of cool fotos with the welsh boys and girls!=)
Today we was in the Big Pit, were a lot workers get coal for a lot of years. It's very cold there,but it was very  interristant. But the Busdriver needed a lot of time to go to the coalmine. And tomorrow is the Disco!! I am really excited, to see all of them welsh people again, but i have already saw them yesterday!=)

Another lovely day in Wales. In the morning there was a bit of sunshine and a bright blue sky. We drove to a former coal mine called "Big Pit". When we arrived at "Big Pit" we had to wait a couple of minutes since there were many student groups today. Before we could go down in a cage-like lift we were equipped with a helmet with a lamp and some security "bag". All the guides there are former miners so they can talk about their experiences and it is always great fun to listen to their little anecdotes. We also learned about the hard life of a miner and the horrible working conditions at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. After 50 minutes we were back on the surface. We were back at school right on time and many pupils are going to a football match tonight. So have fun and see you tomorrow!

Ein weiterer schoener Tag in Wales. Sonnenschein und blauer Himmer. Wir fuhren zu der ehemaligen Kohlemine "Big Pit". Dort mussten wir zunaechst etwas warten, da heute sehr viele Schuelergruppen dort waren. Bevor wir in einem Kaefig aehnlichen Fahrstuhl "einfahren" konnten, wurden wir mit einem Helm, der mit einer Lampe versehen war und einer Art Sicherheitstasche ausgestattet. Alle Maenner, die dort die Fuehrungen leiten, sind ehemalige Minenarbeiter und sie koennen deshalb von ihren eigenen Erfahrungen berichten. Es macht immer sehr viel Spass, ihren Anekdoten zuzuhoeren. Aber wir haben natuerlich auch etwas ueber das harte Leben eines Minenarbeiters und die schrecklichen Arbeitsbedingungen zu Beginn der Industriellen Revolution gelernt. Nach etwa 50 Minuten waren wir wieder an der Erdoberflaeche. Wir waren wieder puenktlich an der Schule und viele Schueler gehen heute abend zu einem Fussballspiel. Viel Spass und bis morgen!

Hier in wales ist es sehr schoen!!! meine Austauschpartnerin und ihre Familie sind sehr nett!
Die Busfahrt war sehr anstrengend.
 Am tag als wir angekommen sind bin ich mit Betsan, Rhiannon+ Anika und Alys+ laura am Strand gewesen. Es war sehr lustig.
 Am 2. Tag waren wir in Mumbles, an der Kueste. Die Kueste war total schoen und ich hab sehr viele Fotos gemacht. Danach ist fast jeder mit seinem Partner in ein Spassbad gegangen. Das war sehr lustig, da es total gute Rutschen gab, eine auch mit Strudel. 
 Am 3. Tag waren wir in Cardiff: Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle und Shoppen:) Leider war schon im Millennium Stadium der Saft meines Fotos alle, und so konnte ich fast gar nix fotografieren:(. Dann sind wir mit unseren Partnern ins Pizza Hut gegangen. Danach waren wir bowlen.
 Heute waren wir in Big Pit, einer alten Kohlenmine. Es war sehr witzig, alle mussten Helme aufsetzen, mit Lampen dran. Der dazugehoerige Strom-Dingsbums hat 5 Kilo gewogen! Danach kam ich mir total leicht vor. 
 Morgen werden wir nach St. Fagans ins Freilichtmuseum gehen.




In Wales it is very nice!!! My exchange and her family are very nice! 
The journey was really hard.
 The day we arrived I went to the beach with Betsan, Rhiannon+ anika and Alys+ Laura. It was really funny.
 The 2. day we were in Mumbles by the coast. The coast is beautiful and I made lots of pictures. After that everybody went to a swimming-pool with his exchange. It was much fun because ther were really good slides.
 The 3. day we went to Cardiff: Millennium Stadium, Cardiff Castle and Shopping:) Because my camera hadn't enough energy it finished working in Millennium Stadium:(. After that we went to Pizza Hut with our Partners and then we went bowling.
 Today we were in Big Pit, an old coal mine. It was really funny, everybody had to wear helmets with lights on it. It was about 5 kilos! After that I felt like a bird.
 Tomorrow we'll go to St. Fagans.

heute waren wir im Big Pit. Es war sehr schoen. Mir hat das Museum sehr gefallen, auch wenn ich im dunklen ein wenig angst hatte. Aber wir leben alle noch :-D
Dann sind wir wieder in die Schule gefahren, wo wir dann unsere Austauschpartner getroffen haben. Jodi und ich wurden abgeholt und sind noch kurz shoppen gefahren. Gleich fahren wir zu einer Art Unterrichtsstunde.

Gester waren wir in Cardiff. Zuerst waren wir im Stadion. Es war wirklich schoen. Dann sind wirin das Schloss gegangen.Dies war auch schoen. Danach hatten wir fast 4 Stunden Freizeit in der Stadt. :) Am Abend sind wir zum Pizza Hut Pizza essen. Das war sehr lecker und lustig. Als alle fertig waren sind wir Bowling spielen gegangen. Das war super!!!

Yesterday we was in Cardiff. At first we were going to the Stadion. It was really nice. Than we were going to the castel. This was nice, too. Than we had 4 houres free time in the city. :) On the afternoon we were going to the Pizza Hut eating. That was very comidey. Than we were going to playing Bowling. That was super!!!

Heute waren wir in der Mine Big Pit. In der Mine war es kalt und nass. Heute Aben werde ich auf ein Fussballspiel gehen. Dort werde ich viele treffen. Das wird Spass machen.

Gestern waren wir in Cardiff. Es war echt toll. Zuerst waren wir im Millenium Stadium, dort war es toll, denn wir konnten fast alles sehen. Dann waren wir im Cardiff Castel. Ich muss sagen, dass es mir nicht so gut gefallen hatte wie das Millenium Stadium, aber es war gut. Dann gingen wir in die Stadt. Dort hatten wir fast vier Stunden Freizeit. Am abend sind wir dann zum Pizza Hut gegangen, die Pizza dort ist sehr lecker. Am Ende des Tages waren wir dann noch bowlen, es hat richtig spass gemacht.

we were in Cardiff yesterday. It was really cool. At first we were in the Millenium Stadium. It was really nice there because we saw almost all of the stadium. Than we were in Cardiff Castle.
I must say that the Millenium Stadium was better than the Castle but it was great. Than we went into the downtown. There we had almost four hours free time. In the afternoon we went to Pizza Hut, the pizza there is really really delicious. In the end of the day we went bowling.
It was really fun.

Heute waren wir in Big Pit. Es war sehr kalt und feucht unter Tage, aber gut. :)

Gestern war ein schoener Tag.Cardiff ist eine sehr schoene Stadt.Wir waren im Milennium Stadium,im Cardiff Castle und shoppen.Spaeter waren wir im Pizza Hut und Bowling spielen.Es war sehr lustig:D.Heute waren wir im Big Pit.Es war sehr kalt:).

Yesterday was a nice day.Cardiff is a very beautiful city.We were at the Milennium Stadium,at the Cardiff Castle and we were shopping.Later we were at the Pizza Hut and we played bowling.It's was very funny:D.Today we were in the Big Pit.It was very cold:).

Heute waren wir in Cardiff.Zuerst waren wir im Millenium Stadium.Es ist so riesig,dass man sich wie eine Maus vorkommt.Aber ehrlich gesagt kommt mir der Betzenberg in Kaiserslautern groesser vor, obwohl ueber 10000 Menschen weniger hineinpassen.Das Schloss war toll,obwohl es geregnet hat.In der Stadt hat es dann so stark geregnet, dass wir fast die ganze Zeit ueber im Einkaufszentrum waren.Nach vier Stunden Freizeit in Cardiff sind wir dann mit unseren Partnern im Pizza Hut Pizza und Nudeln essen gegangen."All you can eat" ist wirklich lustig. Beim anschliessenden Bowling haben wir viel Spass gehabt.

Today we were in Cardiff. At first we were at the MillenniumStadium. It is so big that you feel like amouse .But I think,the Betzenberg in Kaiserslautern is bigger.The castle was realy good,although it rained.In the City it rained so much,that we were at the department store most of the Time.After four hours free time in the City, we were eating Pizza at Pizza Hut. All you can eat is very funny.After that, we had lots of fun at Bowling.

heute waren wir in der Kohlemine ! Eigentlich war es ganz okay , aber es war kalt
und nass .
Danach war ich richtig kaputt .
Und in einer Stunde werden wir ins Kino gehen und ich freu mich schon so , das wird so cool !

Yesterday we were in Cardiff.It is very big.We saw the Millenium Stadium and the Castle.Then we could walk around the city with three or more pupils.Go shoppping.In the evening we were at the Pizza Hut with our partners and after this in the bowling center.Very much fun!

Today we went to Cardiff. Such a beautiful place. We visited the Stadium which was very large, and the castle which was interesting! And then the best part was shopping!!! I brought some lovely things. And then we met our partners at PIZZA HUT & BOWLING!!! The pizza was delicious and the bowling was fun, i won :D

Heute waren wir in Cardiff, super Stadt :) Wir waren im riesigen Millennium Stadium, dann im Castle. Aber das Beste war das Shoppen!! Ich hab viele coole Sachen gekauft, total billig alles :D

Dann haben wir die Waliser im Pizza Hut getroffen und sind danach zusammen bowlen gegangen :)

heute war ein toller tag!!Wir waren in Cardiff und haben dort das Millenium Stadion und Cardiff Castle besucht. Danach konnten wir shoppen gehen!!!!!!!!!

Heute sind wir nach Cardiff gegeangen.Zuerst haben wir das Milenium Stadium besucht und dann Cardiff Castle.Danach sind wir 4 Stunden shoppen gegangen.Danach haben wir unsere Partner in pizza hut getroffen und sind zusammen bowlen gegangen.Es war sehr lustig.



We went to Cardiff today.At first we visited Milenium Stadium and after that Cardiff Castle.Then we went shopping for 4 hours+! :) In the afternoon we met our partners in pizza hut and went bowling.It was fun !

Another fantastic day in Wales!

Just came back from bowling and Pizza with Alys. Had a fun time! We also visited cardiff, and were fortunate enough to visit Cardiff castle, Stadium and to go shopping (my favourite)!! Very tired, looking forward to "Big Pit" tomorrow!

Sind gerade zurueckgekommen vom Bowlen und Pizzaessen mit Alys. Es war sehr lustig. Wir haben auch Cardiff besucht. Und wir waren auch in Cardiff Castle und im Stadium und wir waren shoppen (das Beste :)) Ich bin sehr muede und freue mich auf morgen, da gehen wir zu Big Pit.

Morgen gehen wir zum BigPit , ich denke es wird toll & Mittags gehen wir entweder an den Strand oder Schlittschuh laufen :) Es ist sehr schoen hier & ich bin sehr traurig ,dass wir nur noch 3/4 Tage hier sind. tschues <3

Heute waren wir in Cardiff. Als erstes haben wir uns das Milenium Stadium angeschaut. Danach sind wir zum Cardiff Castle gegangen. Dann hatt man Zeit zum einkaufen und um sich sich die Stadt anzuschauen. Am Abend sind wir in den Pizza Hut gegangen und danach haben wir gebowlt.


Today we were in Cardiff. First we looked at the Milenium Stadium. Then we went to Cardiff Castle. Then we had time to buy  and to get the city to look at. In the evening we went to Pizza Hut in sid and after that we go bowling.

Today was a very long and exciting day. First we went to the Millennium Stadium where a very nice chap did the tour. He explained to us all about the architecture and the functions of the building. Then we moved on to Cardiff Castle. First we watched a video - 2000 years of history in 8 minutes- then we visited some of the stunning rooms in the castle and finally we had a walk in the grounds and climbed the tower where we had a fantastic view. The afternoon was free for all to go shopping and at six we met the Welsh partners at Pizza Hut - all you can eat pizza, pasta and salad. Finally we ended up at the bowling centre and at 9 o'clock the parents came to pick all up.

Heute war ein langer und aufregender Tag. Zuerst waren wir im Millennium Stadion, wo uns ein sehr netter Mann alles gezeigt hat, v.a. die Architektur und die verschiedenen Nutzungsmoeglichkeiten des Gebaeudes. Dann ging es weiter zu Cardiff Castle. Zuerst ein Video - 2000 Jahre Geschichte in 8 Minuten-, dann ein Besuch in den reich ausgestatteten Raeumen des Schlosses und schliesslich ein Spaziergang auf dem Schlossgelaende, wo wir auf den Turm geklettert sind, um die Aussicht zu geniessen. Der Nachmittag war fuer alle frei zum Einkaufen und um sechs Uhr haben wir die walisischen Partner bei Pizza Hut getroffen - all you can eat Pizza, Nudeln und Salad. Der Tag endete im Bowling Center und um neun Uhr wurden die Schueler von den Eltern abgeholt.

Heute waren wir in Cardiff. Im Millenium Stadium und im Cardiff Castle. Das Stadium ist sehr groß und der Anblick ist atemberaubend!!!!!!!!! Im Cardiff Castle haben wir viel über die Geschichte der Burg gelernt. Danach durften wir in der Stadt einkaufen gehen. Wir hatten genug Zeit um viel einzukaufen :) Im Pizzahut haben wir dann unsere Austauschpartner wieder getroffen. Von dort sind wir dann zur Bowlingbahn gelaufen. Es war ein sehr lustiger Tag der viel Spaß gemacht hat.

Today we were in Cardiff. In the Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Castle. The millenium stadium is huge and the view of the stadium is breathtaking !!!!!!!!! In Cardiff Castle we have learned a lot about the history of the castle. Then we could go shopping in to town. We had enough time to have a big shop:) In Pizzahut we met our exchange partners. From there we then went to the bowling alley. It was a very fun day.

Heute haben wir als erstes ein Stadium besucht ! Es war sehr interessant und hat viel Spass gemacht ....
Danach sind wir in ein schoenes , grosses Schloss gegangen !! Darauf folgte eine shopping tour , die totalen spass machte !
Am ende des tages sind wir in PizzaHut gegangen und als letztes haben wir bouling gespielt :)
